NSW e-D/O Thailand is a digital innovation integrated within the THAI NSW platform, modernizing and automating cargo release for sea freight imports by replacing paper workflows with a secure, fully digital, and traceable system.
This solution supports Thailand’s transition toward a Paperless Trade ecosystem, improving efficiency across the logistics and shipping industry.
What is NSW e-D/O?
NSW e-D/O (Electronic Delivery Order) is a collaborative digital service developed by key national and private sector stakeholders, including:
- National Telecom (NT)
- Customs Department Thailand
- Port Authority of Thailand (PAT)
- Bangkok Shipowners’ and Agents’ Association (BSAA)
- Private technology partners such as PMT-Bainisys Joint Venture
The system replaces physical delivery orders and stamps with secure electronic documents and e-Stamp validation from the Revenue Department.
How NSW e-D/O Works
1. Digital Documents & e-Stamp System
Paper-based delivery orders are replaced with authenticated digital documents. Revenue stamps are converted into electronic e-Stamps, reducing manual handling and document loss.
2. QR Code-Based Cargo Release
Shipping agents use a mobile application to generate a QR code for cargo release. Scanned at port terminals, eliminating physical document transfer between shipping lines, customs, and port authorities.
3. Secure Identity Verification
Integrates identity verification with national databases such as Thai ID authentication to ensure only authorized personnel can access and release cargo.
